Perhaps it would inspire readers/listeners to seek out the others.
I wouldn't read this book before the previous ones though it would still be good but the depth of story will be lost. I cannot recommend this range of books more. When reading the previous books it was totally a page-turner and this book was no different. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting? The climax on Demonreach or the ball in Winter. The story arc through all of the books is engrossing and imaginative and the developments in this story are great and shocking. The audio book was great, very involving narration and the book is the usual blend of comedy, action, loveable characters and wonderful storytelling. Cold Days is much closer to the good old days. "Changes" was one of my favourites but I was disappointed by "Ghost Story".
I have read all of the Dresden files and loved most of them. Would you consider the audio edition of Cold Days to be better than the print version?
